Applesoft BASIC

Applesoft BASIC is an interpreted programming language created by Apple in the 1970s for Apple II computers. It was popular for its simplicity and accessibility, allowing users to learn basic programming and develop applications without needing advanced technical experience. Applesoft BASIC included functions for handling graphics, performing mathematical calculations, and working with text strings. Although it is now considered obsolete, it played a key role in the introduction of personal computing and in fostering interest in programming among the first generations of technology enthusiasts.
