Senior Test Automation Engineer (QA)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to ensure the quality of web applications developed in React and .NET.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that deliverables meet business requirements, contributing through both manual and automated testing.

Job Details

• Contract Type: PJ (Legal Entity) + TotalPass + Allya
• Hours: Business Hours
• Work Model: Hybrid in Barueri/SP (1 to 2 times per month)

Your Day-to-Day

• Ensure the quality of developed features by validating business rules, application flows, and frontend-backend integrations.
• Plan and execute functional tests.
• Validate acceptance criteria and business flows.
• Log and track bugs until resolution.
• Test APIs using Postman, Bruno, or similar tools.
• Perform database queries for validation when necessary.
• Support the user acceptance testing (UAT) process.
• Create and maintain automated tests for key application flows.
• Collaborate with developers and the Product Owner to prevent quality issues from the start of development.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Experience in projects using React and .NET.
• Experience using Claude as a daily support tool.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Basic SQL for queries and validations.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Familiarity with Git and agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Understanding of CI/CD.
• Experience with performance or security testing.
