We are looking for a Mid-Level Scrum Master to facilitate agile practices, promoting collaboration among teams, continuous improvement, and delivery efficiency. This person will be responsible for leading agile ceremonies, supporting the removal of impediments, tracking metrics, and contributing to the evolution of teams' agile maturity, ensuring alignment with the client's operational model.
Responsibilities and duties
- Facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, ensuring objectivity, participation, and focus on results.
- Facilitate agile events in multi-team environments, such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, PO Sync, and System Demo.
- Monitor operational and agile metrics, tracking delivery progress, team capacity, productivity, and performance indicators.
- Identify, track, and act to remove impediments that may compromise activity progress and team deliveries.
- Support backlog management, sprint planning, priority tracking, and identification of dependencies between teams.
- Promote continuous improvement of work processes, encouraging collaboration, autonomy, transparency, and shared responsibility.
- Support the team in identifying risks, planning deviations, and improvement opportunities, contributing to the development of action plans.
- Work in partnership with Product Owners, leaders, business areas, and technical teams, facilitating communication and alignment of expectations.
- Monitor adherence to agile practices and the operational model established by the client, proposing adjustments when necessary.
- Use tools such as Jira and Confluence to track activities, organize information, and provide visibility into deliveries.
Requirements and qualifications
- Prior experience as a Scrum Master or in roles related to facilitation and the application of agile methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of the Scrum framework and experience leading its main ceremonies.
- Experience with agile management tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience tracking backlogs, team capacity, dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Knowledge of agile metrics and delivery tracking indicators.
- Experience facilitating communication between technical teams, Product Owners, leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to identify problems, support conflict resolution, and promote process improvements.
- Strong communication, organization, proactivity, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Autonomy to lead ceremonies, track actions, and support the team in overcoming obstacles.
Preferred qualifications
- Scrum Master certification, such as PSM I, PSM II, CSM, or equivalent.
- Experience in corporate environments with agile governance and multi-team operations.
- Knowledge of Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
- Experience with scaled agility events, such as PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
- Experience with flow, predictability, capacity, and team performance indicators.
- Experience in agile transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
