NAVA is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to strategically drive the evolution of agile practices, strengthen governance, and integrate multiple teams, promoting continuous improvement and efficiency in development processes.
In this position, you will have the challenge of driving the agile maturity of teams, facilitating the resolution of complex impediments, managing dependencies between teams, and supporting the evolution of the operational model defined by the client. We are looking for a person with a systemic view, autonomy, and the ability to use metrics to guide decisions, increase delivery predictability, and align initiatives with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting and improving Scrum ceremonies, such as Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective, promoting alignment, collaboration, and focus on results.
- Facilitating scaled agile events, such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums (SoS), PO Sync, and System Demo, ensuring integration between teams and alignment of priorities.
- Acting strategically in identifying, analyzing, and removing complex impediments, coordinating the resolution of dependencies and risks that may compromise deliveries.
- Defining, monitoring, and analyzing operational indicators and agile metrics, turning data into improvement opportunities and supporting decision-making.
- Promoting the evolution of teams' agile maturity, disseminating best practices and encouraging autonomy, collaboration, transparency, and shared responsibility.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce bottlenecks, and increase the quality, efficiency, and predictability of deliveries.
- Supporting the implementation, evolution, and sustainability of agile governance models in complex corporate environments.
- Working in partnership with Product Owners, leadership, business areas, and technical teams to align expectations, priorities, and strategic objectives.
- Guiding teams and professionals in adopting agile practices, contributing to knowledge dissemination and the development of a continuous improvement culture.
- Ensuring adherence to the operational model defined by the client, evaluating the effectiveness of adopted practices and proposing adjustments when necessary.
- Using tools such as Jira and Confluence to structure initiative tracking, provide visibility to deliveries, and support the management of metrics and dependencies.
Requirements
For this opportunity, it is important that you have:
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master in complex corporate environments and initiatives with high inter-team dependencies.
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and scaled agile events, such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, PO Sync, and System Demo.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for managing, tracking, and visualizing agile initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of backlog management, team capacity, dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Experience defining, analyzing, and using agile metrics and performance indicators to guide decisions and improvements.
- Experience implementing or evolving agile governance practices and operational models in corporate environments.
- Proficiency in agile practices and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
- Ability to facilitate negotiations, mediate conflicts, and align expectations among technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Systemic view, analytical thinking, assertive communication, and autonomy to handle complex challenges.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the evolution of teams' agile maturity.
Preferred qualifications
It will be a plus if you have:
- Advanced agile certifications, such as PSM II, PSM III, Advanced CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Experience structuring and evolving agile governance models in large organizations.
- Experience coordinating dependencies, risks, and alignments among multiple teams, products, or initiatives.
- Experience in agile transformation, disseminating best practices, and developing team autonomy.
- Knowledge of flow, predictability, capacity, and performance metrics, using data to identify bottlenecks and guide actions.
- Experience facilitating executive forums or alignment meetings across different levels of the organization.

Model: Hybrid (initially).
Schedule: From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
