NAVA is looking for a PMO Specialist to strategically drive integrated governance and the management of projects, programs, and portfolios, promoting alignment between business and technology areas.
In this position, you will have the challenge of structuring and improving governance practices, ensuring executive visibility into initiative performance, and supporting strategic decisions through metrics, risk analyses, planning, and dependency management.
Your contribution will be essential to increase delivery predictability, strengthen controls, optimize processes, and ensure that projects are aligned with the business's strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the structuring, implementation, and evolution of governance practices for projects, programs, and portfolios.
- Defining and improving tracking models, performance metrics, prioritization criteria, and control mechanisms for initiatives.
- Consolidating and analyzing strategic metrics, preparing executive reports and presentations to support decision-making.
- Monitoring critical risks, dependencies, schedule and budget variances, and proposing mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Acting in a consultative capacity with business and technology leaders, supporting decisions related to priorities, resources, risks, and deliveries.
- Conducting governance forums and executive meetings, promoting alignment among stakeholders and tracking strategic decisions.
- Identifying bottlenecks, improvement opportunities, and systemic risks, and proposing initiatives to increase project efficiency and predictability.
- Developing and standardizing project management methodologies, processes, policies, and tools, ensuring consistency and transparency in governance.
- Supporting integrated management of multiple initiatives, assessing impacts, priority conflicts, execution capacity, and dependencies among projects.
- Guiding teams and professionals involved in project management on best practices for planning, control, governance, and reporting.
- Promoting continuous improvement of management processes, disseminating best practices, and strengthening a culture of metrics-based tracking.
Requirements
For this opportunity, it is important that you have:
- Strong experience in PMO, governance, and management of high-complexity projects, programs, or portfolios.
- Experience structuring, implementing, or evolving governance models and project management methodologies.
- Mastery of planning and control of schedules, budgets, risks, resources, dependencies, and performance metrics.
- Experience preparing and presenting executive reports and metrics to leadership and decision-making forums.
- Ability to analyze complex scenarios, identify risks, and propose solutions with strategic vision and results orientation.
- Experience engaging stakeholders at different hierarchical levels, including business and technology leaders.
- Advanced Excel knowledge and experience with project management and metrics tools.
- Ability to conduct executive meetings, negotiate priorities, and influence decisions.
- Analytical profile, systems thinking, autonomy, and ability to work in dynamic environments with multiple priorities.
Preferred qualifications
It will be a plus if you have:
- Experience in corporate PMO or integrated management of strategic portfolios.
- Project management certifications, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of frameworks and methodologies such as PMBOK, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Experience with BI tools, such as Power BI, for building executive dashboards.
- Experience in digital transformation, technology modernization, or organizational transformation initiatives.
- Experience in benefits management, value metrics, and business results tracking.
- Knowledge of capacity management, resource allocation, and portfolio prioritization.

Model: Hybrid (initially).
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
