NAVA is looking for a Mid-level PMO Analyst to work on integrated governance and the tracking of projects, programs, and portfolios, connecting business and technology areas.
In this role, you will have the challenge of ensuring visibility into the progress of initiatives, supporting decision-making through metrics, planning, risk management, and management oversight. Your work will contribute to aligning deliverables with business objectives, identifying improvement opportunities, and continuously evolving governance processes.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Tracking and controlling the execution of projects and initiatives, monitoring schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Consolidating, analyzing, and tracking performance metrics, preparing management reports and executive presentations.
- Identifying deviations, risks, pending items, and impediments, proposing corrective actions and tracking action plans.
- Working together with business and technology areas to track requests, align expectations, and ensure visibility into deadlines, owners, and deliverables.
- Supporting decision-making through critical analysis of metrics, trend identification, and reporting of relevant information.
- Monitoring project compliance with established governance processes, standards, and practices.
- Conducting follow-up meetings, recording decisions, monitoring pending items, and following up with owners on next steps.
- Identifying improvement opportunities in management and governance processes, contributing to increased efficiency and predictability of deliverables.
- Supporting the standardization of processes, controls, reports, and metrics used in project tracking.
Requirements
For this opportunity, it is important that you have:
- Professional experience in PMO, governance, or project, program, or portfolio management.
- Knowledge of planning and controlling schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Experience preparing and analyzing performance metrics and management reports.
- Experience tracking action plans, managing requests, and monitoring results.
- Experience interacting with different business areas, technology, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to identify deviations, analyze problems, and propose next steps.
- Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for creating controls, analyses, and presentations.
- Organization, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Good communication, analytical skills, and ability to track commitments and deadlines with different stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
It will be a plus if you have:
- Experience simultaneously tracking multiple projects or initiatives.
- Experience implementing, structuring, or improving governance and project management processes.
- Knowledge of project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Planner, or Trello.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization and dashboard creation tools.
- Familiarity with agile and traditional project management methodologies.
- Experience preparing presentations and metrics for management or executive tracking.
Work model
Model: Hybrid (initially).
Schedule: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
