FinOps Leader

We are looking for a professional with a consultative approach and results-oriented to lead our FinOps efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions for our clients.

Practical experience in implementing FinOps tools and processes, as well as knowledge and experience in technologies from the leading cloud providers in the market.

Responsibilities:

• • Leadership: Build and lead a team of FinOps experts, defining the vision, strategy, and goals of the practice.
  • Cost Management: Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize cloud service costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving solutions.
  • Product Ownership: Define, prioritize, and deliver FinOps Practitioner services, ensuring they meet client needs and align with the company's strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with IT, development, finance, and business teams to promote FinOps culture and ensure cloud spending aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to different audiences.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to align FinOps initiatives with the company's business objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze cloud resource usage, generating actionable insights to optimize costs and improve performance.
  • Governance: Implement and maintain governance policies and processes to ensure efficient and secure use of cloud resources.
  • Implementation: Develop and implement FinOps solutions, including cost management tools, process automation, and custom dashboards.
  • Optimization: Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities across the entire cloud infrastructure.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of cloud cost and usage data to identify trends and make strategic decisions.
  • Reporting: Ability to define detailed and customized reports on cloud spending for senior management and stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

• • In-depth knowledge of FinOps tools (Cloudability, Apptio, etc.)
  • Solid experience in cloud cost management (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Results-oriented and ability to work in a dynamic environment

Additional Considerations:

• • Certifications: FinOps Practitioner, FinOps Engineer, or FinOps Professional certifications;
  • Certifications: Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.);
  • Leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Results-oriented and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of programming languages (Python, SQL), BI tools, and cloud infrastructure is desirable.
