PEGA SSA Developer

About the role

Nava is looking for a PEGA SSA Developer to work on a strategic project for a major client, continuing the evolution and support of solutions developed on the Pega platform.

In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining the technical and functional knowledge already built in the project, working on the development and evolution of solutions, and also contributing technically to the team through leadership, guidance, and mentoring.

We are looking for a person with solid experience in Pega, an architecture mindset, and the ability to work closely with the team, ensuring quality, performance, and continuity of deliveries.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, evolving, and supporting applications using the Pega platform
• Working on advanced solution modeling, using features such as Case Types and Data Pages
• Working with business rules, application architecture, and platform components
• Developing and maintaining integrations with internal and external systems through REST and SOAP APIs
• Working on application performance analysis and optimization, identifying improvement opportunities
• Ensuring the application of best practices in development, architecture, security, and governance on the platform
• Supporting the technical evolution of the solution, preserving and expanding the knowledge already existing in the project
• Acting as a technical reference for the team, supporting decision-making and the resolution of complex problems
• Providing mentoring and supporting the technical development of the team's developers
• Participating in technical discussions, refinements, and solution definition
• Supporting DevOps-related processes, deployment, and support of developed components
• Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

For this opportunity, it is important that you have:

• Solid experience with development on the Pega platform
• CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) certification
• Advanced experience with Pega application modeling
• Mastery of Case Types and Data Pages
• Knowledge of architecture, security, and development best practices on the platform
• Experience with integrations using REST and SOAP
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization (Performance Tuning)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and processes
• Experience working on Pega solution development and support projects
• Ability to act as a technical reference and support the growth of other professionals
• Good communication, analytical skills, and ease of working in a team

Preferred qualifications

It will be a plus if you have:

• Previous experience acting as a technical reference or technical leader on Pega projects
• Experience with mentoring and technical development of people
• Knowledge of enterprise solution architecture
• Experience with high-complexity environments and high volumes of integrations
• Experience in enterprise platform modernization, evolution, or support projects
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and software development practices
