Senior Java Developer - Remote

About the Opportunity

Languages and Frameworks: Solid experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot for developing RESTful APIs. Proficiency in dependency management with Maven.

API Development: Deep knowledge in creating and consuming RESTful APIs, with mastery of the HTTP protocol, verbs, status codes, and endpoint design. Practical experience structuring JSON payloads.

API Tools: Experience with API testing and documentation tools.

Databases: Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, such as PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with persistence frameworks like JPA/Hibernate.

Security: Practical experience implementing security flows, especially with JWT and/or OAuth2.

Code Quality: Strong knowledge of Clean Code practices, exception handling, and logging strategies.

API Gateway: Experience with API management platforms: CA API Gateway and Google Apigee.
