About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to work with one of our key clients in the banking sector, contributing to the construction and evolution of critical, scalable, and high-availability platforms.

Work Model

• Hybrid in the Interlagos region, São Paulo/SP;
• Work on a strategic project in the banking sector.

What You Will Do Day-to-Day

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 11, 17, and 21;
• Design and implement solutions based on microservices architecture;
• Work with event-driven architecture (EDA) and asynchronous integrations;
• Develop integrations using Kafka and RabbitMQ;
• Participate in defining architectures and development best practices;
• Implement and maintain applications in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI);
• Work on containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes;
• Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines;
• Ensure observability and monitoring of applications using OpenTelemetry and Grafana;
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-impact solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience with Java development;
• Solid experience with Java 11, 17, and/or 21;
• Mastery of Spring Boot;
• Experience with microservices architecture;
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ;
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture (EDA);
• Experience with Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI);
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with observability using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or similar tools;
• Experience in critical environments with high availability and scalability.

Differentials

• Experience in the banking or financial sector;
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed architecture;
• Experience with DevOps and SRE practices;
• Cloud certifications.
