Your Challenges:

We are looking for a Senior COBOL Mainframe Developer to join a Squad, participating in the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical systems in the financial sector.

The professional will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications in a Mainframe environment, ensuring technical quality, availability, and system evolution. Additionally, they will handle requirements analysis, incident resolution, batch routine development, and legacy environment modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain COBOL applications in a Mainframe environment;
• Work with CICS, DB2, and JCL in system development and maintenance;
• Perform requirements analysis, technical impact assessment, and incident resolution;
• Develop and maintain batch routines and integrations with legacy systems;
• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate on team evolution;
• Support modernization and continuous improvement initiatives for the Mainframe environment;
• Ensure quality, performance, and availability of critical systems.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Solid experience with Mainframe development;
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL;
• Experience in impact analysis, maintenance, and incident resolution;
• Knowledge of TSO/ISPF;
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
• Experience in high-criticality and high-availability environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial sector (cards, clearing, and authorization);
• Knowledge of VSAM;
• Experience with DB2 Stored Procedures;
• Knowledge of Endevor/Changeman;
• Experience with APIs, DevOps for Mainframe, and legacy system modernization.
