Junior Java Backend Developer

We are looking for a Junior Java Backend Developer to work on the development and maintenance of backend applications, contributing to APIs, system integrations, and the evolution of solutions in cloud environments and modern architectures.

The opportunity involves working with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, microservices, messaging, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as initiatives focused on Artificial Intelligence applied to development.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of backend applications;
• Work on creating and evolving RESTful APIs;
• Contribute to systems based on microservices architecture;
• Support integrations between systems using integration patterns;
• Assist in creating and monitoring batch processing (Spring Batch);
• Work with messaging tools such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ;
• Work in an agile environment alongside multidisciplinary teams;
• Support initiatives involving the use of Artificial Intelligence in development, including AI tools and APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed in Technology;
• Knowledge of Java 8, 11, or 21;
• Knowledge of Spring Boot;
• Familiarity with microservices and RESTful APIs;
• Knowledge of SQL Server and/or Sybase databases;
• Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform);
• Knowledge of messaging tools (Kafka, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ);
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, or Kanban);
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Differentials

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to development, including:
  • use of tools such as Devin, Cursor, or Gemini;
  • integration with AI APIs;
  • familiarity with LLMs (Large Language Models);
  • best practices for using AI in backend applications.
• Knowledge of Spring Batch and batch routine processing;
• Experience with system integration patterns.
