Functional Automation Test Analyst

SENIOR QA AUTOMATION (API)

Main Stack: Karate | Java | JMeter/K6

Responsibilities:

-Automate testing for REST APIs and microservices using the Karate Framework.

-Plan and execute performance, load, and stress tests using JMeter or K6.

-Configure and maintain test execution within CI/CD pipelines.

-Participate in technical refinements and define acceptance criteria.

-Support agile squads in defect prevention and continuous improvement of quality processes.

-Perform log analysis, failure traceability, and API contract validation.

Mandatory Requirements:

-Proven experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer.

-Expertise in API automation using the Karate Framework.

-Experience testing REST services, microservices, and API contracts.

-Experience with non-functional testing using JMeter or K6.

-Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

-Advanced knowledge of BDD.

-Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.

-Hands-on experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
