Senior Systems Analyst | Oracle PL/SQL

Nava is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst | Oracle PL/SQL to work on legacy systems support and production environments.

In this role, you will face the challenge of working in a critical production environment, investigating and resolving incidents, performance issues, data inconsistencies, and processing failures. We expect a professional with strong analytical skills and technical autonomy to navigate complex PL/SQL code, understand business rules, and drive solutions with minimal guidance, contributing to system stability and continuity.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting production systems, investigating and resolving incidents, processing errors, and data inconsistencies.

• Analyzing, maintaining, and evolving packages, procedures, functions, and triggers in Oracle PL/SQL.

• Investigating and resolving issues related to performance, batch processing, integrations, and execution of complex procedures.

• Performing tests, validations, and impact analyses before deploying changes to the production environment.

• Understanding, maintaining, and fixing large, highly complex packages, ensuring the stability of legacy systems.

Requirements

For this opportunity, it is important that you have:

• 7+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

• Solid experience with packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and more complex SQL.

• Experience in debugging, problem investigation, performance analysis, and execution plans.

• Proven experience in production systems support, investigating incidents, performance issues, batch processing, integrations, and failures in procedures and packages.

• Ability to understand and maintain large, complex packages, performing tests, validation, and impact analysis of changes.

• Proactive, analytical, and investigative profile, with a sense of urgency and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred qualifications

It will be a plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Java, Angular, IBM IWS, and DataStage.

• Experience with legacy systems.

• Experience in the insurance market and insurance accounting knowledge.
