Mid-Level Fraud Prevention Analyst

About the role:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Fraud Prevention Analyst to work 100% remotely, with occasional trips to Campinas, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The professional will have an analytical, data-driven profile and will be part of the evolution and support of the company's anti-fraud engine.

The person will be responsible for analyzing large volumes of data, developing monitoring, identifying suspicious behavior patterns, and supporting the creation of fraud mitigation strategies through analyses, automations, and metrics.

Main responsibilities

In This Position, You Will Be Responsible For

• Perform data analyses to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential fraud events.
• Support the evolution of the anti-fraud engine by creating and optimizing rules, metrics, and monitoring.
• Develop queries, routines, and automations for data processing, consolidation, and analysis.
• Build dashboards and management reports to track fraud metrics and control performance.
• Investigate alerts and incidents identified by monitoring systems, supporting the definition of corrective and preventive actions.
• Work on extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from different corporate sources.
• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business areas to implement improvements in fraud prevention processes.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and traceability of information used in analyses.
• Support automation and artificial intelligence initiatives applied to fraud prevention.
• Identify opportunities to use Generative AI and analytical models to optimize analyses, investigations, and anti-fraud engine processes.

Requirements

For This Opportunity, It Is Important That You Have

• Experience in fraud prevention, risk analysis, or related areas.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Experience in Python development for analysis and process automation.
• Experience with Databricks and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Experience building dashboards and analyses using Power BI.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP, including data extraction and analysis from the SAP environment.
• Analytical ability to interpret large volumes of data and identify behavior patterns.
• Good communication skills and the ability to translate technical analyses into business-relevant information.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI tools applied to data analysis, process automation, and productivity improvement.

Preferred qualifications

It Will Be a Plus If You Have

• Experience with fraud prevention engines and transactional monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview.
• Experience with data modeling and data engineering.
• Knowledge of Bash and Regex for automations and log processing.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI projects applied to risk, fraud, compliance, or analytics.
• Knowledge of tools such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, LangChain, LLM APIs, or similar solutions.
• Experience building AI-based agents, assistants, or automations to support analytical processes.

Work model:

Model: 100% remote, with occasional trips to Campinas.

Working hours: Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Technology stack: Data & Analytics — SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI, and SAP; AI & Automation — Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), LLM APIs, and LangChain (preferred); complementary tools — Elasticsearch, Bash, and Regex.
