Cybersecurity Analyst II

About the role:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Fraud Prevention Analyst to work 100% remotely, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have an analytical, data-driven profile and will be part of the evolution and maintenance of the company's anti-fraud engine.

The professional will be responsible for analyzing large volumes of data, developing monitoring systems, identifying suspicious behavior patterns, and supporting the creation of fraud mitigation strategies through analyses, automations, and indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential fraud events.
• Support the evolution of the anti-fraud engine by creating and optimizing rules, indicators, and monitoring systems.
• Develop queries, routines, and automations for data processing, consolidation, and analysis.
• Build dashboards and management reports to track fraud indicators and control performance.
• Investigate alerts and occurrences identified by monitoring systems, supporting the definition of corrective and preventive actions.
• Handle the extraction, transformation, and analysis of data from various corporate sources.
• Collaborate with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams to implement improvements in fraud prevention processes.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and traceability of information used in analyses.
• Support automation and Artificial Intelligence initiatives applied to fraud prevention.
• Identify opportunities to use Generative AI and analytical models to optimize analyses, investigations, and processes within the anti-fraud engine.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in fraud prevention, risk analysis, or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Experience in Python development focused on process analysis and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Experience building dashboards and analyses using Power BI.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP, including data extraction and analysis from the SAP environment.
• Analytical capacity to interpret large volumes of data and identify behavior patterns.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical analyses into relevant business insights.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI tools applied to data analysis, process automation, and productivity enhancement.

• Experience with fraud prevention engines and transactional monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
• Microsoft Sentinel-SIEM.
• Microsoft Purview.
• Experience with data modeling and data engineering.
• Knowledge of Bash and Regex for automations and log processing.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI projects applied to risk, fraud, compliance, or analytics.
• Knowledge of tools such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, LangChain, LLM APIs, or similar solutions.
• Experience building AI-based agents, assistants, or automations to support analytical processes.

Data & Analytics: SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI, SAP.

AI & Automation: Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel-SIEM, LLM APIs, LangChain (desirable).
