Junior Accounting Analyst

Main responsibilities:

• Support the monthly accounting close.
• Perform accounting entries according to team guidance.
• Execute low to medium complexity accounting reconciliations, ensuring correct balance composition.
• Assist in the analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support the preparation of monthly trial balances.
• Assist in responding to external audits and internal client requests.
• Support the Controllership department with information and accounting entries.
• Assist in preparing documents for accessory tax obligations.
• Perform reviews and validations of accounting and tax information.
• Support the development and updating of internal controls.
• Execute operational routines in the accounting area, ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements and knowledge:

• Knowledge of accounting reconciliation.
• Understanding of accounting principles and routines.
• Basic knowledge of tax and fiscal legislation.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting Sciences (in progress or completed).
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Analytical and proactive profile.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Differentials:

• Previous experience in the accounting field.
• Knowledge of the TOTVS RM ERP.
• Knowledge of accessory tax obligations.
• Active CRC (Professional Accounting Council registration) or in the process of obtaining it.
