About the role

Nava is looking for a Senior Java Developer to work on a strategic project for a major client, contributing to the development, evolution, and maintenance of enterprise solutions.

In this role, you will play an important part in developing applications and processes using Java, with a focus on integrations and data processing through Apache Camel and Spring Batch.

We are looking for a person with solid experience in Java development, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work in highly complex technical scenarios, contributing to the quality, performance, and reliability of solutions.

The opportunity is for an initial 6-month project, with a high likelihood of renewal.

Main responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, evolving, and maintaining applications using Java
• Implementing and maintaining integrations between systems using Apache Camel
• Developing and maintaining batch processing routines using Spring Batch
• Designing and implementing efficient, scalable, and resilient solutions
• Performing technical analyses, identifying issues, and proposing improvements to applications
• Working on performance analysis and optimization of developed processes and services
• Ensuring code quality by applying development best practices and design patterns
• Developing and maintaining integrations with internal and external systems
• Participating in technical discussions, refinements, and solution definition
• Contributing to architecture evolution and continuous improvement of applications
• Supporting the identification and resolution of incidents and complex technical issues
• Collaborating with the team to build solutions aligned with business needs

Requirements

For this opportunity, it is important that you have:

• Solid experience with Java development
• Experience with Apache Camel, including development and maintenance of integration routes
• Experience with Spring Batch, including batch processing and job execution
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and development best practices
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs and integrations between systems
• Knowledge of the Spring ecosystem
• Experience with relational databases and SQL queries
• Knowledge of code versioning with Git
• Ability to analyze complex problems and propose efficient technical solutions
• Good communication, autonomy, and ease of working in a team

Nice to have

It will be a plus if you have:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of messaging and asynchronous processing
• Experience with Docker and cloud environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with automated testing and application monitoring
• Experience in projects integrating enterprise systems
• Experience in highly complex environments and processing large volumes of data

Work model

Contract: Temporary, initially for 6 months, with a high likelihood of renewal.
