Senior Odoo / Python Software Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Odoo / Python Software Engineer with strong experience in developing complex solutions on the Odoo platform. You will be responsible for evolving highly customized management systems, focusing on performance, scalability, and integration with various partners and external services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain custom modules in Odoo (preferably version 14+);
• Design robust, scalable technical solutions aligned with business needs;
• Participate in technical decisions alongside the engineering and architecture teams;
• Conduct code reviews, refactoring, and continuous technical improvements;
• Ensure test coverage and coding best practices in Python and Odoo ORM;
• Integrate Odoo with other platforms via APIs and external services;
• Ensure application performance and security;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices;
• Provide technical support to junior and mid-level developers;
• Collaborate with QA, Product, and Support teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong experience in backend development with Python;
• Strong experience in Odoo development, including creating and customizing modules (preferably versions 14 and 18);
• Solid understanding of Odoo's modular architecture, models, views, workflows, and permissions;
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Odoo's database structure, and building optimized queries;
• Experience with system integrations via REST APIs;
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions);
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, contract tests);
• Ability to analyze requirements and propose technical solutions aligned with the business;
• Good communication, proactivity, and ability to work collaboratively in remote teams.

• Previous experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure);
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration and distributed deploy structure (Docker, Kubernetes, Doodba).
