Job Description

You will work on a remote Digital Government project, integrating a platform with open-source solutions and proprietary technology. The environment is based on TypeScript and uses modern frameworks such as NestJS, NextJS, Express, React, and React Native/Expo. The architecture involves SSR/CSR applications, microservices, REST APIs, SSO (Single Sign-on), messaging queues, and observability, forming a distributed ecosystem.

The developer is expected to collaborate in a team, share knowledge, and follow engineering best practices, aiming for scalable and high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack features (frontend with React/Next and backend with Nest/Express).
• Integrate external services and APIs.
• Build robust APIs and scalable microservices.
• Contribute to application design and architecture, always focusing on user experience and system efficiency.
• Ensure code quality (code reviews, unit/integration test coverage, CI/CD pipelines) and optimize the development lifecycle according to best practices.
• Take ownership of tasks: identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them forward without relying on micromanagement.
• Participate in planning and design meetings, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to align technical and product goals.
• Work in an agile environment, participating in refinements, planning sessions, dailies, and retrospectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Proven experience with React and Next.js.
• Experience in test-driven development.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of architecture patterns (microservices, REST/GraphQL).

Differentials

• Experience with React Native/Expo.
• SSO Authentication (OAuth2/OpenID).
• Familiarity with application observability.
• Knowledge of CI/CD infrastructure and cloud.

Selection Process

We request the submission of a portfolio/GitHub with source code from relevant projects. Initially, there will be a cultural fit assessment, followed by a technical evaluation that will combine code analysis (repos) and practical, contextualized challenges, simulating real platform problems with open discussions on architecture and design, focusing on reasoning and problem-solving skills.
