Key Responsibilities:

• Support and Collaboration: Work closely with development and security teams, facilitating the daily workflow of developers (Developer Experience), assisting with cloud architecture and troubleshooting.
• Pipelines and Deployment: Design, optimize, and maintain solid, fast, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Full Automation: Ensure the evolution of our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment automation.
• Orchestration: Administration, monitoring, and evolution of Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Ecosystem Support: Assist in the maintenance, hardening, and secure updates of servers and integration components (including X-Road environments on VMs and Kubernetes).
• Continuous Improvement Culture: Create clear documentation, runbooks, and disseminate DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.

Mandatory Requirements:

• DevOps Mindset: Strong focus on supporting the development team and automating repetitive processes.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Solid practical experience with continuous integration and delivery tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).
• Kubernetes in Production: Mastery of concepts such as Helm, operators, networking, storage, and troubleshooting pods/services.
• Infrastructure as Code: Practical experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Cloud: Real-world experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or OpenShift).
• Systems and Networks: Advanced Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) and solid knowledge of networking/security (TLS, PKI, Firewalls, VPN).

Desirable Requirements (What sets you apart):

• Observability: Experience with advanced monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Elastic Stack, Graylog).
• Security: Experience with Hashicorp Vault, External Secrets Operator, or cert-manager.
• Automation: Good knowledge of Python or Bash for creating scripts and internal tools.
• Secure Integrations: Practical experience with the X-Road ecosystem (Security Server or Central Server) or similar data exchange projects (PIX, Open Banking, SPI, Gov.br Connect, etc.).

Differentiators that make us call you the same day:

• Official certifications in Cloud (AWS/GCP) or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
• Prior experience structuring Developer Experience (DevEx) strategies in engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge or contributions to the global X-Road community (NIIS).
