Tasks and Responsibilities
Show originalAs a QA, you will be responsible for building and evolving the quality infrastructure of a SaaS platform for risk management and decision automation, used by companies that need to make strategic decisions with agility and security. Your focus will be on creating robust, scalable automations integrated into the delivery cycle, ensuring that quality is part of the flow, not a checkpoint at the end. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with engineering, product, and data to build a culture of continuous quality, from conception to delivery.
What you will do day-to-day
- Design, implement, and evolve end-to-end, API, and UI automated test suites, ensuring continuous and reliable coverage in the team's deliveries.
- Integrate automations into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring tests are executed consistently with every deploy and pull request.
- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks, focusing on maintainability, code reuse, and low friction for new cases.
- Work in partnership with frontend, backend, and product teams to anticipate risks, map critical scenarios, and ensure automated coverage of high-impact flows.
- Create and maintain contract and integration tests between services, contributing to the stability of the platform's interfaces.
- Analyze automation failures, investigate root causes, and document bugs clearly, prioritizing them with the team and tracking their resolution.
- Support the implementation and evolution of automated quality metrics (test coverage, defect rate, flakiness, cycle time) to inform technical decisions.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, bringing the quality perspective to refinements, plannings, and retrospectives.
Mandatory Requirements
- Previous experience in QA with a focus on test automation.
- Experience in E2E automation with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Automated API testing (Postman/Newman, RestAssured, or similar).
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
- Git and version control applied to automation projects.
- Best practices in test framework development (Page Object Model, fixtures, reporting).
- Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Analytical profile, detail-oriented, and capable of investigating failures systematically.
What can make you stand out even more
- Experience with testing on B2B SaaS platforms, especially in financial data or credit contexts.
- Knowledge of performance testing with k6, JMeter, or Locust.
- Familiarity with contract testing (Pact or similar) to validate interfaces between microservices.
- Understanding of application security (OWASP, authentication testing, access control).
- Experience with monitoring and observability (Datadog, Sentry, or similar) to correlate failures and unexpected behaviors.
- Interest in exploring AI applied to test case generation, coverage analysis, and flakiness detection.
