Junior Network and Security Support Analyst | PJ | Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Network / Security Support Analyst N1, with a junior profile, to join our operations team. This is an opportunity to start and develop your career in security and networking in a dynamic environment that values continuous learning and excellence in service delivery.

In this role, you will be the first line of support, working directly on maintenance, monitoring, and ticket handling, with a primary focus on endpoint security (Bitdefender) and the corporate email platform (Skymail). You will also provide essential support for networks and connectivity in Fortinet environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts, manage Bitdefender agent installations and updates, and analyze and handle malware and threat detections on endpoints.
• Manage accounts, mailboxes, groups, and forwarding rules on the Skymail platform.
• Diagnose message sending and receiving issues (bounce errors, transport rules, quarantine, and antispam) in Skymail.
• Perform initial connectivity triage and support the allowing and blocking of specific access in FortiGate firewall rules.
• Check VPN tunnel status and collect logs for escalation to higher levels (N2/N3) in Fortinet environments.
• Log and document all tickets and incidents, ensuring the SLA agreed with internal and external clients.
• Apply basic security policies on endpoints and email systems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Networking, Information Security, or related fields.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or operations roles.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with administration and support for the Skymail platform or related corporate providers (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, quarantine).
• Hands-on experience managing corporate antivirus, preferably Bitdefender GravityZone (agent installation, releasing false positives, quarantine, and reports).
• Basic knowledge of Fortinet / FortiGate (reading firewall rules, opening ports and IP addresses, IPsec/SSL VPN status, and log review).
• Solid fundamentals in computer networks (OSI/TCP-IP model, DNS, DHCP, basic routing).
• Ability to document technical procedures and log tickets clearly and objectively.
