We are a fast-growing iGaming company (betting and poker) with multiple brands and products — sports betting, poker, payments, and KYC. Our technology team operates AI-first: AI agents are part of the daily workflow, and the data team acts as the orchestrator of this technology. We offer autonomy, a fast pace, and direct access to decision-makers.

The Mission

Lead the global data team, make deliveries more efficient, scale the team, and integrate AI into the product — reporting directly to the board. We are looking for a technical leader with a builder's DNA: someone who speaks the team's language as an equal, but whose current role is to lead, delegate, and scale a team where people and AI agents work together.

What You Will Do

• Take ownership of and evolve a modern data architecture, prioritizing the roadmap alongside the team and AI agents.
• Define standards for how the team operates with AI agents: specs, plan reviews, output, governance, and observability.
• Integrate AI into the product: segmentation, recommendation, pattern detection, and responsible gaming.
• Scale the team: structure it, hire strategically, mentor, and foster autonomy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (SIGAP, LGPD, AI auditability) as a condition of operation.
• Serve as the bridge between the technical team, the board, and data-consuming departments.

What We're Looking For

• Track record of building plus experience leading and scaling a technical data or engineering team.
• Technical depth in modern architecture (columnar Data Warehouse, dbt, orchestration, cloud, IaC, CDC/streaming).
• Product and business acumen; owner's mindset; clear communication with non-technical departments.
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment with scarce resources and ill-defined problems.

Bonus Points

• Experience in iGaming, fintech, or another regulated, data-intensive sector.
• Experience with compliance (KYC/AML, LGPD, privacy).
• History of instilling an analytical culture and developing data promoters.
