Production Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead production at our bakery and pastry factory, with a focus on quality, productivity, and costs. The professional will be responsible for leading the production team, planning workflow, and ensuring compliance with targets and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team, assign tasks, and define shifts to maintain flow and productivity.
• Plan and control production, monitoring raw material and finished product inventories, labor, and equipment.
• Monitor production and cost indicators (materials and labor), proposing actions to meet targets and reduce waste.
• Support the development of the annual production targets plan.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), proper use of PPE, and maintenance of equipment, utensils, and facilities.
• Coordinate quality control of raw materials, packaging, and finished products, as well as storage.
• Prepare and update technical sheets and SOPs.
• Ensure the adjustment and proper operation of production machines.
• Improve processes, equipment, and layout together with Industrial Management and participate in new product development.
• Monitor audits and inspections, supporting the achievement of certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience leading bakery and/or pastry production, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of GMP and health surveillance regulations.
• Knowledge of technical sheets and production cost control.
• Intermediate Excel.

Preferred qualifications

• Technical or higher education in Food Science, Gastronomy, Production Engineering, or related fields.
• Prior experience in an industrial production environment.

Work model and location

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, on-site at the production unit located in Fazenda Rio Grande.
