The Challenge

We are looking for someone to technically lead the evolution of our data platform and accelerate the development of Artificial Intelligence-based solutions.

You will be responsible for creating the foundation that supports analytics, automations, intelligent agents, and AI products, ensuring that reliable data is available to support strategic decisions across the entire company.

More than just developing pipelines, we are looking for someone who thinks in terms of architecture, business, and impact.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain scalable and resilient data pipelines, covering the entire flow from capture to availability for consumption.
• Evolve our data architecture, defining standards for modeling, quality, monitoring, and governance.
• Build the necessary infrastructure for AI applications, including pipelines for RAG, feature engineering, vector databases, and evaluation datasets.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and AI teams to transform business challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Define and implement best practices in data engineering, observability, lineage, monitoring, and cost management.
• Support the technical development of the team, disseminating modern Data & AI practices.
• Evaluate technologies, platforms, and frameworks, making decisions on whether to build internally or adopt market solutions based on impact, speed, and sustainability.

What We Are Looking For

Required Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in Data Engineering in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Practical experience with modern tools in the data ecosystem, such as dbt, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, or equivalents.
• Experience with analytical platforms and modern data warehouses, such as Nekt, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining critical production pipelines, handling challenges related to scale, quality, performance, costs, and reliability.
• Experience using AI tools to increase productivity and technical quality in daily work (Cursor, Claude Code, custom agents, among others).
• Ability to understand business problems, formulate hypotheses, define metrics, and prioritize initiatives with a focus on results.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical areas, connecting business strategy and data architecture.
• AI First mindset: using artificial intelligence as the primary tool to solve problems, automate processes, and expand productivity.

Differentials

It will be considered a differential if you have:

• Experience technically leading data teams or initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Experience with data observability and quality solutions, such as Great Expectations, Soda, Monte Carlo, or equivalents.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or similar.
• Experience structuring environments for LLM-based applications, autonomous agents, and RAG architectures.
• Participation in digital product, growth, sales, or operations projects with a focus on business impact.
• Knowledge of tourism, hospitality, marketplaces, or shared economy markets.
• Participation in open-source projects, technical content production, lectures, or publications related to data and AI.
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and commitment to results.
