Senior Cloud Security Analyst - Network Security

The professional will be responsible for designing the company's network security solutions – Firewalls, Routers, IPS, and NDR.

Analyze and propose continuous improvements to the environment. Create technical documentation for network security. Act as a technical reference for the team and other areas of the company. Develop internal routines and processes for environment monitoring. Participate in technical meetings with clients and support the commercial team. Handle high-complexity troubleshooting.

Work with the governance team to meet audit requirement standards.

Propose automations and improvements in environment management. Research new technologies and products that reduce environmental risk.

Responsibilities:

• • Propose best practices for monitoring network security tools – IPS, Firewall, NDR, AntiDDoS, routers;
  • Propose best practices for environment management.
  • Develop routines, activities, processes, and their respective documentation.
  • Assist other technical teams with high-complexity troubleshooting.
  • Point of contact for the Governance team in meeting audit requirements.
  • Research, study, test, and implement new technologies and systems for continuous improvement of the environment.
  • Transfer knowledge to direct customer service and 24/7 monitoring teams, so they can operate in the environment without your support.
  • Develop automations for the area's routine.
  • Document the environment – network security scope in the cloud.
  • Capacity and resource utilization analysis.
  • Execute high-complexity activities.
  • Monitor and execute equipment update cycles.

Essential requirements:

Proven experience in the role, over 5 years;

English for reading and conversation;

In-depth knowledge of market Firewalls – CheckPoint, Fortinet, Juniper;

In-depth knowledge of IPS solutions – Trendmicro, Trellix, PaloAlto;

Proficiency in Windows and Linux Operating Systems;

In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP);

In-depth knowledge of application protocols (DNS, NTP, SSH, HTTP, TLS);

In-depth knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 stacks;

In-depth knowledge of anti-DDoS solutions (Arbor, A10, WanGuard, Cloudflare, Akamai) and related attacks;

Experience with Flow collection and analysis (NetFlow, sFLOW).

Experience in automating routines and tasks.

Nice to have:

In-depth knowledge of static and dynamic routing;

Knowledge of security services and concepts for GCP, AWS, and Azure clouds;

In-depth knowledge of IPSec Framework.

Experience with best practices and security for ASNs;

Experience with monitoring tools Grafana, Solarwinds, Zabbix)
