Senior Back-end Developer (Remote)

As a Backend Engineer, you will be a key player in building, evolving, and maintaining our products and internal systems. You will work on challenging projects with high data volume, focusing on performance, availability, and scalability.

Responsibilities and duties

• Develop new scalable, robust, and secure Back-End functionalities and modules;
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and microservices in Node.js, Express, and Python;
• Ensure performance, integrity, and security in integrations with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB);
• Collaborate with Product, Front-End, Support, and Business teams, promoting alignment and synergy;
• Write clean, testable, and easy-to-maintain code;
• Document technical solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and team scalability;
• Actively participate in agile rituals (plannings, dailies, reviews, retrospectives);
• Suggest and implement continuous improvements in system performance, architecture, and security.

Requirements and qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Back-End development;
• Deep understanding of Node.js, Express, and Python;
• Solid knowledge of MongoDB, NoSQL and SQL data modeling;
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs;
• Familiarity with Git, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and agile/Scrum methodologies;
• Bonus: Golang;
• Collaborative profile, with good communication skills and a focus on teamwork.
