Software QA Engineer

Our cliente is looking for a Software QA Engineer with a strong background in testing on GoLang, Python
Stacks and proficiency in Jira. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality
assurance and software testing, with a deep understanding of the Learning Applications ecosystem (built on REST
and Microservices on GoLang/Python). . You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our
Microservices applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet business
requirements and provide a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:
 Test Planning & Execution:
o Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for GoLang/Python
applications.
o Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across solutions and custom applications.
o Ensure that user stories and requirements are properly translated into testable items.
 Defect Tracking & Reporting:
o Use Jira for defect tracking and management, ensuring defects are properly logged, tracked, and
closed.
o Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues found during testing.
 Automation:
o Collaborate with the development and QA automation teams to identify opportunities for
automating repetitive test cases.
o Maintain and update automated test scripts as needed to align with new features and
enhancements.
 Collaboration & Communication:
o Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers to understand business
requirements and ensure that the QA processes align with project timelines.
o Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate issues when necessary.
 Quality Assurance Strategy:
o Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
o Assist in developing and maintaining testing standards, guidelines, and best practices for the QA
team.
Requirements:
 Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on
custom solutions and microservices.
o Experience with manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
 Technical Skills:
o Strong working knowledge of the Golang or Python stacks, including configuration, workflows,
permissions, and user roles.
o Proficiency in Jira for defect tracking and project management.
o Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools is a plus.
 Analytical Skills:
o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
 Communication:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
