Senior Full Stack Developer (React, Node.js, Ruby on Rails)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team, specializing in creating highly scalable and high-performance web applications and microsites. This role will focus on leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as React, Node.js, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, and Heroku, and will involve developing reusable code components and frameworks that can support global solutions with local customization. You will also lead technical innovation projects, drive the adoption of AI tools, and optimize the performance and resilience of applications in globally distributed systems. • Design and implement scalable, high-performance full-stack applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails.
• Architect and develop microsites with minimal maintenance, focusing on high code reusability, component-driven development, and rapid regional deployment.
• Build and maintain modular UI components, reusable templates, and internal libraries to accelerate development speed and standardize the user experience.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs with Node.js and Ruby on Rails, ensuring scalability, security, and efficient integration with the frontend and third-party systems.
• Optimize performance for both frontend and backend, with goals of load times under 200ms, test coverage above 90%, and 30% reduction in bundle size.
• Manage infrastructure and deployments using Heroku, NGINX, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub workflows.
• Integrate Google Tag Manager (GTM) for analytics, conversion tracking, and A/B testing, supporting marketing and product teams.
• Deliver globally scalable solutions with built-in flexibility for regional enhancements, enabling faster response times for localized requirements.
• Lead frontend and backend architecture decisions, apply coding best practices, and drive the adoption of modern development standards.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and support the growth of the engineering team through documentation and shared standards.
• Lead technical innovation projects, including the development of proofs of concept to evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into the development lifecycle.
• Drive the adoption and integration of AI tools into the development process to increase efficiency, including AI-assisted coding, testing, and deployment practices.
• Optimize performance and resilience in globally distributed applications, ensuring high availability and low latency for users worldwide.
• Implement and evolve AI-assisted approaches for coding, testing, and deployment to increase productivity and reduce human error.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems, ensuring end-to-end performance and quality.
• Take ownership of the technology stack and ensure it remains up-to-date, efficient, and aligned with business needs. Evaluate and implement new technologies when applicable.
• Develop and apply comprehensive testing strategies for frontend and backend, using automated and manual testing frameworks.
• Identify areas for code refactoring and optimization to ensure the longevity and scalability of systems.
• Ensure that all systems and microsites are built to be easily maintained and extended.

Required

• Solid experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails.
• Practical experience with Heroku, NGINX, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience building scalable microsites with reusable architecture.
• Strong understanding of building global solutions with localized customizations.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager and frontend performance tools.
• Experience leading technical innovation projects and integrating emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of AI tools and their application in coding, testing, and deployment processes.
