Master Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Quality Specialist (Master Data) to work in a complex multinational environment, serving as the strategic link between Data Governance and the operational excellence of our Digital Core project. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical rules, leading data cleansing initiatives, and ensuring the integrity of our information assets.

Main Responsibilities

• Governance and Translation: Translate governance standards into Data Quality (DQ) rules, handling everything from business requirements to training and rollout.
• Analysis and Cleansing: Conduct detailed analyses to identify trends that trigger large-scale data cleansing activities.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence Data Champions, Stewards, and global leaders to ensure adherence to DQ rules.
• Technical Interface: Provide specifications for the DQ DevOps team and manage deliveries via the AGILE process (JIRA).
• Problem Solving: Perform root cause analysis on Master Data issues and manage conflicts between project requirements and global standards.
• Validation: Execute test cases and validate the results of mass cleansing routines.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Solid track record in Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Analysis in multinational corporate environments.
• Technical: Practical knowledge of SAP ECC and MS SQL.
• Tools: Experience with SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services (or similar ETL/DQ tools).
• Modeling: Good understanding of Data Models.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills (English is essential for the global environment) and the ability to engage the business in technical activities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the consumer goods industry (FMCG).
• Knowledge in Python, Datalake, or Databricks.
• Understanding of Machine Learning solutions.
