Tasks and Responsibilities

The IT Deputy Manager acts as the primary operational leader within the IT division, serving

as the essential bridge between strategic governance and technical execution. This role is

designed to support the General Manager, typically within a dual-leadership structure

involving Chinese and Brazilian counterparts, by translating high-level strategies into

actionable results. For this specific opening, the search focuses on an experienced Manager

with exceptional execution capabilities to lead a team of 30 staff members and oversee 3

Coordinators.

● The core responsibilities include operational leadership to manage day-to-day IT operations,

such as Portfolio Management and Service Desk, while ensuring stability and security. The

position requires direct oversight of the 30-person staff to foster a high-performance culture

and the support of ITIL/COBIT governance frameworks to ensure departmental objectives are

met with precision. Furthermore, the role involves cross-cultural coordination to navigate a dynamic environment, acting as the local Deputy to the General Manager and facilitating

communication between internal teams and external vendors. Technical oversight is also

required, providing expertise in Cyber Security, ERP/OA workflows, and Infrastructure to

guide the team toward innovative solutions.

● The ideal candidate is positioned one grade below the General Manager but possesses the

leadership weight to run the division, prioritizing a "strong on execution" profile over a purely

strategic one. Technical requirements include a solid background in Computer Science and

Cyber Security, a deep understanding of ERP and OA (Office Automation) workflows, and

experience managing large-scale IT portfolios and complex vendor relationships.
