We have an opportunity to work as a Datacenter Operator - Electricity for one of our clients in the Telecommunications sector, located in the São Paulo/SP region, with more than 07 units spread across the country.

Job Description:

  • Manage and supervise the operations and daily maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a datacenter.
  • Identify risks and perform quality assessments of operations and maintenance by IDC suppliers.
  • Act as a technical professional for all issues related to installations within the datacenter, escalating to the headquarters (HQ) technical team as necessary.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on critical equipment failures.
  • Resolve issues and report installation and server-level events within internal SLAs.
  • Create and implement new standard practices for technicians and IDC supplier support teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to the operations team, including MOP (Maintenance Operation Procedure), SOP (Standard Operation Procedure), and EOP (Emergency Operation Procedure).
  • Ensure that all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) procedures are followed by the supplier and client teams.
  • Communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field (mechanical or electrical).
  • Experience: Solid relevant experience in datacenter infrastructure or other critical environments.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with datacenter installations (e.g., UPS, transformers, chillers).
  • Specific Skills: Familiarity with electrical technology.
  • Languages: Fluency in English for technical and team communication.

  • Electrical or mechanical license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven proactivity.
  • Ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment.
