The position is for a Senior Mainframe Consultant, working 100% remotely, on the payment and card processing platform. Our partner is a global technology company that provides consulting services, digital transformation, IT, and business operations to modernize the market's key industries.

Activities:

• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL/JCL programs for the payment/card processing platform.
• Analyze and resolve incidents in batch processing cycles (EOD/SOD) and CICS online transaction flows.
• Implement and maintain Brazilian regulated payment flows (Pix, TED, DOC, SPB) integrated with the card processing system.
• Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure quality across all versions and regulatory change implementations.
• Support settlement and reconciliation processes with card brands — Visa, Mastercard, Elo, etc.
• Document technical specifications, data flows, and processing cycle maps for system components.
• Collaborate with product, business, and compliance teams to meet BACEN regulatory requirements and LGPD data standards.
• Participate in system upgrade projects, portfolio conversions, and new client integration activities.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for application releases and regulatory change implementations, conducting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across all applications.

Requirements:

• COBOL/JCL
• CICS
• Knowledge of the banking sector, especially card processing platforms.
