Systems Analyst

About the Position

We are looking for a Systems Analyst / Developer (ERP) to work on an important challenge with autonomy, requiring strong communication skills. The company uses its own proprietary management system, maintained through direct contact with the developer.

The database is already populated, and the main challenge of the position is to bring all functionalities into operation, evolve the existing system, and develop new applications and features.

Responsibilities

• Implement small and medium improvements to the company's ERP (screens, business rules, and validations).
• Create reports and queries using operational and financial data.
• Support testing and acceptance of deliverables with end users.
• Document in detail the changes made to the systems.
• Address internal requests from various company departments, maintaining a focus on weekly deliveries.
• Gather and analyze requirements with user departments, identifying needs and opportunities for continuous process improvement.
• Assist in analyzing and resolving system issues, performing tests and adjustments to applications.
• Provide ongoing support to users in using the systems, tracking tickets and improvement requests.
• Document requirements, process flows, and technical specifications, keeping controls and documentation up to date.
• Assist in implementing new systems and monitoring updates.
• Interact with development, infrastructure, and partner vendor teams to resolve requests.
• Fully comply with the company's standards, internal procedures, and information security guidelines.

Requirements

• Higher education or technical degree (completed or in progress) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in development, system maintenance, or application support.
• Knowledge of SQL databases for creating queries and reports.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with ERP systems or other management software.
• Certifications or specialized courses in software development and databases.
• Previous experience in companies in the distribution, import/export, fresh produce, or agribusiness sectors.
