About the role

We are looking for a Sr. Business Development Executive - International to join the team and work directly in the International Sales area. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on the business by leading prospecting and expansion strategies in the e-commerce vertical in the target region, in an environment of continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, together with management, the definition and execution of prospecting and marketing strategies in partnership with New Business and Marketing, ensuring sustainable growth in the e-commerce vertical in the target region;
  • Build and strengthen a strategic network of international customers and partners, mapping key stakeholders and developing long-term partnerships;
  • Manage international inbound and outbound leads, ensuring a pipeline of qualified opportunities in collaboration with the International New Business team;
  • Lead strategic meetings with prospects and partners, presenting tailored solutions and exploring commercial synergies;
  • Plan and lead business trips to accelerate negotiations, strengthen strategic relationships, and expand the company's presence;
  • Represent the company at industry events, promoting strategic networking and supporting other members of the International Sales team;
  • Master the technical and financial flows of the solutions, highlighting competitive differentiators and anticipating customer needs;
  • Understand and manage international contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance and corporate governance in partnership with Legal & Compliance teams;
  • Periodically monitor the competition, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for strategic adjustments;
  • Conduct complex, high-impact negotiations and contract renegotiations, ensuring closings aligned with the company's strategy and revenue maximization;
  • Guide and monitor the approval and testing process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers;
  • Ensure continuous updates to the CRM (Salesforce) for traceability and predictability of commercial opportunities;
  • Participate in strategic and routine area ceremonies, such as executive sales meetings, strategy committees, innovation forums, daily, weekly general overview, and sales funnel weekly;
  • Undergo continuous technical and personal development training, acting as a mentor for new and existing team members;
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to drive sales performance based on market data;
  • Provide structured feedback to Product and Technology teams, contributing to the optimization of the user experience;
  • Prepare tailored commercial proposals and highly complex contracts, with direct interaction with technical, legal, and compliance teams;
  • Guide strategic customers throughout the onboarding process, ensuring the start of processing and account growth in the first year of operation;
  • Create content and deliver training for PagBrasil's Sales team.

Requirements

  • Completed higher education in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Engineering, or related fields;
  • Experience in commercial roles, such as Account Manager, Customer Success, Business Development, or related fields;
  • Experience with B2B consultative sales;
  • Advanced English;
  • Intermediate Spanish.

Preferred qualifications

Non-eliminating differentiators for the position:

  • Experience in the payments market;
  • Knowledge of the e-commerce market;
  • Knowledge of trade marketing is desirable;
  • Knowledge of the acquiring market is desirable;
  • Negotiation techniques with companies that have larger structures.
