Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer to work on a cloud platform project, focusing on evolving our Azure infrastructure and maturing the environment's observability. This is a hands-on position for someone with autonomy, an ownership mindset, and real-world production experience.

Responsibilities

• Evolve and standardize Azure infrastructure using Terraform, preparing the environment to scale and replicate.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure Pipelines.
• Sustain Kubernetes environments in production.
• Enhance observability with New Relic: monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Automate repetitive tasks, handle incidents, and ensure stability and availability.
• Communicate risks and blockers early and clearly to both technical and business teams.

Requirements

• Solid experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer with real-world production exposure.
• Daily hands-on experience with Azure.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Kubernetes.
• CI/CD, preferably with Azure Pipelines.
• Automation.
• Observability with New Relic.
• Python and Kotlin for automation and code reading — this is not a development role.

• Azure Functions.
• Kafka.
• PostgreSQL on PaaS.
• Cloud architecture.
• Definition of SLI/SLO.
• Incident management and continuous improvement.
