Java Technical Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Systems Leader (Tech Lead) to join the Transactional BU, working on the design and evolution of robust, scalable, high-performance architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide: support and mentor the development team (Junior and Mid-level), fostering the team's continuous technical growth.
• Architecture and quality: ensure Clean Code standards, SOLID principles, and best practices in microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on and solutions: design, develop, and optimize high-scale Java applications, collaborating directly with the Architecture team.
• Challenge resolution: actively work on complex performance, integration, and information security issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java (8+) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Proficiency in distributed architectures and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with version control (Git), agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and code reviews.

Preferred qualifications

• Proven prior experience as a Tech Lead in Financial Institutions (key differentiator).
• Experience or exposure to Open Finance.
