About the role

We are looking for a specialized professional to serve as a technical reference in Data Analysis and Business Intelligence within the Open Finance ecosystem. The objective of the position is to transform data-sharing flows and Central Bank regulatory requirements into analytical diagnostics, performance monitoring, and strategic insights for the evolution of our financial products.

The focus of the position is not code/API development, but rather analytical and functional mastery of Open Finance data: ecosystem indicator modeling, data quality and monitoring, journey efficiency analysis, and identification of business opportunities from shared data.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Intelligence: structure, analyze, and monitor the quality, volume, and consistency of Open Finance transactional, registration, and usage data (transmission, reception, and initiation phases).
  • Regulatory and Operational Monitoring: develop and track dashboards and performance indicators required by the Governance Structure and the Central Bank (e.g., API availability, consent success rate and conversion rate, response time, errors, and SLA).
  • Analytical Journey Mapping: diagnose operational bottlenecks and optimization opportunities in consent, sharing, and Payment Initiation (ITP/PISP) journeys through data behavior analysis.
  • Business Insight Generation: identify consumption patterns, customer profiles, and opportunities to create or improve financial products and services based on data received via Open Finance.
  • Regulatory Interpretation from a Data Perspective: interpret the manuals and guidelines of the Open Finance Governance Structure (Data Dictionary, API Schemas, Data and Services Scope) and translate their impacts into internal analytical modeling.
  • Bridge between Business, Compliance, and Data Engineering: act as a technical-analytical liaison with IT/Data Engineering, Product, Risk, and Compliance teams, ensuring proper use, regulatory alignment, and data governance.
  • Report and Diagnostic Preparation: produce executive materials, analytical opinions, and feasibility studies to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Open Finance / Open Banking experience: proven experience in the data-sharing ecosystem from an analytical, product, or regulatory perspective.
  • Knowledge of journeys and the Data Dictionary: in-depth understanding of how consent, transmission, reception, and initiation (ITP) stages work, as well as the structure of Open Finance payloads and transactional data.
  • Analytical capability and performance metrics: mastery of operational and business data analysis (SLA, conversion rate, consent churn, availability, volume, and engagement).
  • Mastery of analytical tools: hands-on experience with data manipulation and creating executive visualizations (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools).
  • Understanding of API and data architecture: solid knowledge of how REST APIs, JSON files, schemas, and data pipelines work to collaborate with technology and data teams.
  • Experience in the financial sector: previous experience in financial institutions, fintechs, specialized consultancies, or banking technology hubs.

Behavioral competencies

  • Communication and documentation: strong ability to structure complex analyses into clear and functional reports for executive and technical audiences.
  • Technical-analytical liaison posture with multidisciplinary Business, Compliance, and Data Engineering teams.

Work model and location

The role is hybrid, with in-person attendance once per week in Campinas - SP.
