About the role

We are looking for a professional with deep business knowledge in Open Finance to serve as a technical and strategic reference in a financial institution, supporting regulatory compliance initiatives, product evolution, and value generation across the data-sharing ecosystem.

The focus of the position is not development: we are looking for someone who masters the business logic, regulation, and journeys of Open Finance, and can engage with both business and compliance teams as well as technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a reference Open Finance specialist, translating regulatory requirements into business and product requirements.
• Monitor and interpret Central Bank regulation and the Governance Structure manuals (Monitoring, Security, Customer Experience, Data and Services Scope, APIs), assessing impacts for the institution.
• Support compliance, monitoring, and ecosystem KPI improvement initiatives, such as conversion rate, availability, and data quality.
• Map and optimize consent, data sharing, and payment initiation journeys (sending and receiving).
• Interact with business, product, legal, compliance, and technology teams, acting as a bridge between the regulatory perspective and execution.
• Prepare diagnostics, opinions, and decision-support materials.
• Track ecosystem evolution and anticipate opportunities and risks for the institution.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Open Finance (or Open Banking) from a business and/or regulatory perspective, not just technical.
• Solid knowledge of Central Bank regulation applicable to Open Finance and the Governance Structure manuals and standards.
• Understanding of ecosystem journeys: consent, data sharing, payment initiation (PISP/ITP), and participant roles (sender, receiver, initiator).
• Familiarity with ecosystem metrics and monitoring.
• Experience in financial institutions, fintechs, consultancies, or companies in the financial ecosystem.
• Ability to communicate with technical and business audiences and produce clear documentation.
• Data mindset and API architecture concepts sufficient to engage with technical teams, even without hands-on coding.

Work model and location
