About the Role

We are looking for a Generative AI Specialist / Engineer to join a strategic technological modernization program for a global financial institution. You will play a key role in creating innovative solutions with Generative AI, Python, and LLMs to perform reverse engineering of legacy systems, test automation, and acceleration of the software development cycle on an international scale.

Responsibilities

• GenAI Innovation: develop tools, integrations, and accelerators using Python, REST APIs, and LLMs.
• Legacy Reverse Engineering: apply Generative AI for deep analysis, mapping, and generation of technical and functional documentation of legacy systems (e.g., COBOL/Mainframe).
• SDLC Automation: create automations for generating test scenarios, scripts, and software engineering artifacts.
• Global Collaboration: work directly with Architects, Legacy Specialists, Business teams, and international stakeholders.
• Software Quality: ensure technical excellence, resilience, and good architecture practices in all delivered solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and building/integrating REST APIs.
• Practical experience with LLMs (Language Models) and application of Generative AI for software engineering, automation, or code analysis.
• Interest or experience in legacy system modernization projects and reverse engineering.
• Advanced or fluent English for day-to-day collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders.
• Familiarity with test automation practices and good software engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in projects within the banking / financial sector.
• Conceptual or practical knowledge of mainframe / COBOL environments, to facilitate analysis and conversion via AI.

Work Model and Location

Collaborative work in a global and innovative environment. Hybrid model, with presence 4x per week in the Avenida Paulista region, São Paulo - SP. Employment regime CLT (Permanent).
