Senior Network Engineer — SD-WAN, NetDevOps & Observability

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the evolution of our corporate connectivity infrastructure in large-scale environments.

If your expertise lies in designing and optimizing SD-WAN architectures, implementing NetDevOps with automation via Python and APIs, and elevating the observability of critical networks, this opportunity is for you.

Alignment Note: this is a position strictly focused on Network Engineering, Telecommunications, and Infrastructure Security (L2/L3, SD-WAN, and Automation). We are looking for network specialists, not profiles focused on Infrastructure/Systems support (Windows/Linux/Sysadmin).

What You Will Do

• Connectivity Evolution: architect, implement, and optimize the corporate network focusing on high availability, performance, and resilience.
• SD-WAN and Security Projects: manage and evolve complex environments using cutting-edge technologies in SD-WAN and Edge Firewalls.
• Network Automation (NetDevOps): develop scripts using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, and Terraform for operational automation, provisioning, and reduction of manual tasks.
• Observability and SRE: implement and manage environment telemetry using Grafana, Zabbix, Graylog, and Dynatrace.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: perform root cause analysis and mitigate high-complexity incidents involving routing protocols and end-to-end connectivity.

Mandatory Requirements

• Consolidated hands-on experience with VMware VeloCloud and/or Fortinet Secure SD-WAN.
• Mastery of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN/IPsec, QoS, segmentation, and advanced network troubleshooting.
• Experience in developing scripts with Python, consuming REST APIs, and automating network routines.
• Practical experience configuring and managing tools such as Grafana, Zabbix, Graylog, and/or Dynatrace.
• Solid experience in large-scale network environments (Data Centers, distributed SD-WAN, and multisite).

Technical Differentiators

• Knowledge of FortiGate, Cisco ISE, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, or Tenable.
• Experience with Cisco ACI, networks in AWS/Azure, and concepts of AIOps and Network SRE.
• Use of AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in script development and operational automation.
• Certifications: CCNP (Enterprise/Security), Fortinet NSE 4+, VCP-NV/VMware VeloCloud, or equivalents.
