Node.js Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Backend Developer to work on the development of critical systems, with a focus on microservices, event-driven architecture, and high data volume.

Responsibilities

• Develop and consume REST APIs in a microservices architecture
• Model data in MongoDB, including indexes, queries, and use of the Aggregation Framework
• Implement event-driven architecture and messaging with Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies
• Ensure proper handling of queues, topics, retries, DLQ, idempotency, and failure handling
• Apply Clean Code, SOLID, and automated testing best practices
• Perform troubleshooting of performance, integrations, and production incidents
• Work with Git, Docker, CI/CD, logs, and observability

Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with MongoDB, including modeling, indexes, queries, and the Aggregation Framework
• Development and consumption of REST APIs
• Experience with microservices
• Event-driven architecture and messaging with Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies
• Proficiency in queues, topics, retries, DLQ, idempotency, and failure handling
• Clean Code, SOLID, and automated testing
• Git, Docker, CI/CD, logs, and observability
• Troubleshooting of performance, integrations, and production incidents

Nice to have

• Advanced TypeScript
• AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud
• SQL
• Experience with high data volume
