Java Backend Developer / AWS

About the role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with solid experience building APIs and microservices in an AWS environment, with autonomy to design complex solutions and provide technical guidance to the team.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 17+;
• Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Web/REST, Spring Data, Spring Security, and JPA/Hibernate;
• Development of REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger;
• Microservices and distributed systems;
• AWS;
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB or DynamoDB);
• Redis;
• Clean/Hexagonal Architecture, SOLID, Design Patterns, and DDD;
• Concurrency and asynchronous processing;
• Idempotency, resilience, Circuit Breaker, timeout, and fallback;
• Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes/ECS;
• API Gateway;
• Observability, performance, scalability, and high availability;
• Autonomy to deliver complex solutions and provide technical guidance to the team.

Nice to have

• Experience with high volume and low latency;
• Query optimization;
• JVM, memory, and Garbage Collector;
• Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
