We are looking for a COBOL Developer to work on the evolution, maintenance, and modernization of critical systems, leading end-to-end technical solutions, from requirements analysis to production deployment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of systems in COBOL/Mainframe.
  • Preparation of technical specifications (HLD/LLD) and architectural solutions.
  • Requirements analysis, data modeling, and estimates.
  • Testing, validation, and deployment.
  • Troubleshooting, abend analysis, and performance.
  • Technical leadership and support for the evolution of other developers.
  • Work on modernization and migration projects for legacy technologies.

Requirements:

  • COBOL (5+ years), JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and SQL.
  • Experience with Batch, Online, TSO, Changeman, and Control-M.
  • Knowledge of architecture, technical documentation, and critical maintenance.
  • Experience with financial, banking, or card environments.
  • Experience with Micro Focus and system modernization.
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Cloud, Python, and OpenAPI.
  • Experience in technical leadership and developer management.
  • Intermediate or advanced English.
