Senior Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the building and evolution of our Open Finance platform. We are looking for someone with experience creating open financial ecosystems, transactional integrations, and advanced payment flows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale FAPI (Financial-grade API) and Open Finance / Open Banking architectures.
• Implement critical payment journeys: ITP (Payment Transaction Initiator), Automatic Pix, Smart Transfers, and Recurring Payments.
• Ensure full management of the customer consent lifecycle (creation, mTLS/OAuth2 authorization, validation, and revocation) in accordance with Central Bank guidelines.
• Ensure resilience, high availability, idempotency, and observability in high-volume financial transactions.

Requirements

• Strong experience (+5 years) with Java 17+ and Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
• Proven experience implementing Open Finance / Pix / ITP ecosystems.
• Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and banking security (mTLS, OAuth2.0, FAPI).
• AWS cloud expertise (EKS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Asynchronous messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB).
• DevSecOps practices, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and test automation (JUnit, Mockito).

• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) expertise.
