Java Back-end Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Java Developer to work as a Back-end Developer.

You will be responsible for developing robust solutions using Java 21, Spring Boot, and JPA, as well as automating processes and meeting project demands, support needs, and regulatory requirements for the Foreign Exchange (FX) area.

The role requires ownership throughout the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), from development to testing, deployment, stabilization, and maintenance of solutions. You will also actively participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with multicultural teams, including teams based in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop back-end solutions using Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and process automation.
• Address project demands, support needs, and regulatory requirements for the Foreign Exchange (FX) area.
• Receive guidance from Product Owners and Technical Leads.
• Mobilize multicultural teams, including infrastructure, change management, and global teams.
• Support technical decision-making for FX systems.
• Participate in agile ceremonies: Planning, Refinement, Review, and Retrospective.
• Estimate efforts, identify impacts, risks, and questions, and suggest improvements.
• Work across the entire SDLC: develop, test, deploy, stabilize, and maintain solutions.
• Create and execute technical tests.

• Experience in multicultural environments.
• Hexagonal Architecture (Ports and Adapters).
• Observability (logs, metrics, and traces).
• Cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Integration testing and contract testing.
• API Security: OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect.
• Integration with Camunda.
