Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Scientist to develop and apply analytical and predictive solutions, participating end-to-end in Data Science initiatives.

The professional will be responsible for handling data problems from hypothesis formulation to the development, validation, and interpretation of models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end Data Science solutions;
• Perform statistical analysis and data modeling;
• Formulate hypotheses, structure analyses, and conduct statistical tests;
• Evaluate the significance, robustness, and interpretation of results;
• Develop and apply Machine Learning models;
• Perform model selection, training, evaluation, and validation;
• Work with large volumes of data using Apache Spark;
• Use Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and Data Science solution development.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Data Science;
• Proficiency in Python;
• Solid knowledge of Machine Learning;
• Strong knowledge of Statistics and Statistical Modeling;
• Experience with hypothesis testing and significance analysis;
• Experience with Apache Spark;
• Experience processing large volumes of data;
• Ability to interpret results and transform analyses into solutions.
