Data Testing Analyst - Hybrid SP

About the role

We are looking for a Data Test Analyst to ensure the quality of ETL processes, data pipelines, and analytical deliverables. The person will work from the requirements refinement stage through final validation, promoting Shift Left Quality practices and supporting data validation automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute tests for ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Validate data transformation, enrichment, and consolidation rules.
• Perform comparative analyses between source and target databases.
• Develop testing strategies for data projects.
• Identify, log, and track defects related to data quality.
• Participate from the requirements refinement stage, promoting Shift Left Quality practices.
• Create evidence and documentation for executed tests.
• Support the definition of acceptance criteria for data deliverables.
• Work together with developers, data analysts, architects, and business areas.
• Support data validation automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Advanced SQL.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts.

• Attention to detail in identifying and logging data quality defects.

Work model and location

The role is hybrid, based in São Paulo, SP.
