Position: Mid-level Back-end Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Mid-level Data Developer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling data pipelines and applications, collaborating directly with cross-functional teams on strategic and critical projects.

You will work across the entire data lifecycle — from ingestion to making it available to business areas — ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and reliability. Responsibilities:

• Develop, integrate, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and reverse ETL flows for operational systems.
• Design, consume, and maintain efficient RESTful APIs and back-end services using Python and Flask.
• Create and optimize views, data models (dimensional, bronze/silver/gold layered architecture), and analytical pipelines.
• Configure, orchestrate, and manage production containers using Docker and Kubernetes in GCP environments.
• Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous and secure deployments.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on existing processes, ensuring monitoring, stability, and code best practices.

Requirements:

• Solid experience with Python and the Flask framework.
• Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud (GCP) and its main services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage).
• Proficiency in Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience building and automating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI).

Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Knowledge of data orchestration and tools such as Airflow and dbt.
• Messaging and event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub, Redis).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Experience with microservices, Node.js, and applied security practices.
